The Use of a Portable Deepwater Well Pump Puller

A deep well contains a submersible pump that may be a few hundred feet below the ground. The reasoning behind this depth is due to the level of the water table that water is being drawn from. Coil piping may be attached to a submersible pump. If a pump needs to be repaired or replaced, a water pump puller is a piece of machinery that will not disrupt the land and that will provide a safe and efficient way to lift the piping and the pump.

A Threaded Connector

Piping that is within a well can be heavy. Piping may be hundreds of feet in length, depending upon the depth of a well. This piping is impossible to lift by hand and will require the use of machinery. Instead of having excavating equipment brought out to your land, you can use a portable pump puller to lift all of the necessary components from the well.

A threaded connector that is on the hoisting apparatus that is attached to a pump puller will need to be secured to the top of the piping. The connector will prevent the coiled piping from slipping off and will maintain tensile strength as the piping is lifted up.

A Versatile Pump Puller

There are many pump pullers on the market that are versatile. A machine may contain a wheelbase, which will allow an end-user to easily load and unload equipment from the back of their vehicle or a shed. A pump pull can be wheeled over to the access opening that a pump will be lifted out from.

If there is a limited amount of room to place the equipment directly over the opening, a puller that contains a separate stand can be used. This type of machinery will contain a motor, a dual rotation device that piping will wrap around, and a removable stand. Clamps that are on a pump puller can be used to grip the opening to a well.

If a stand will be used, in lieu of attaching a puller directly to the top of a well, the stand should be erected first. Multiple legs will lay stable on the ground. The active pump puller components can be attached to the stand. After all of the equipment is set up, an inspection should be performed to ensure that all of the equipment is locked into place. A puller's motor will do all of the liftings. After the piping and the pump are pulled up from the well, a pump can be repaired or replaced with ease.
